"Style Wars" and Henry Chalfant at the Museum of the City of New York

On Monday May 12 the Museum of the City of New York will be hosting a screening of Style Wars, a documentary produced by photographer Henry Chalfant. Made in 1983 the film won a Sundance Grand Jury prize and was the first documentary to truly examine hip hop culture. After the screening there will be a Q&A with Henry Chalfant, breakdancer Mr. Freeze and graffiti writer CRASH.
