The New York Studio School celebrates is 50th anniversary this year. Tworkov was instrumental in the school's formation. Read more about it here. 

Save the date for Jack Tworkov: Black Mountain College and Beyond: Select Works from 1952-1982 at the Asheville Museum of Art in North Carolina. March 7 - June 14, 2015. 

This exhibition, curated by Jason Andrew, curator of the Estate of Jack Tworkov, revisits Tworkov’s affiliation with Black Mountain College and expands to include a significant survey of the artist's career including important works spanning three decades.

Save the date for Jack Tworkov: Important Paintings from the 1970s at the Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, OH. October 11 - December 20, 2015. 

Curated by Jason Andrew, this exhibition is the first of its kind to bring together important paintings from the 1970s offering a reflection on Tworkov’s tension between spontaneity and restraint, the automatic and the planned.
